Whether your child is picking up a water polo ball for the first time or already loves the game, there's a place for them at Gold Coast Water Polo.
We're building an exciting junior water polo community right here on the Gold Coast, where kids can learn from great coaches, play regular games, make friends, represent their district and discover just how far the sport can take them.
Our goal is simple: more kids playing, more opportunities to compete and better pathways to develop, without having to leave the Gold Coast.

YOUR DISTRICT
Introducing a new way for Gold Coast juniors to train, play and belong!
From the 2026/27 season, every junior player will belong to one of four GCWP districts. Your district gives your child a team identity for Friday night competition, while players from across the Gold Coast continue to train and develop together through GCWP.

JUNIOR TRAINING & COMPETITION
GCWP juniors train together during the week, developing their skills, confidence and understanding of the game, then put what they learn into action in regular Friday nights District Competition.

Junior players from across the Gold Coast train together each Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran College, Senior Campus.
⭐ PLAY FOR YOUR DISTRICT ON FRIDAY NIGHTS
Players put their skills into action in the new Gold Coast Junior District Competition, representing their district in regular Friday night games.

Throughout the season, GCWP juniors have opportunities to take part in tournaments, championships and events beyond the regular Friday night competition.
From local events to Queensland Championships and national competition, players can experience more water polo, compete against different teams and be part of the wider water polo community.
